We believe, that like us, many people enjoy knowing more about where the things that touch their lives come from. So we will be bringing you short and sweet bits of information on the different crafts people (in Britain and further a field) that have made the beautiful and precious pieces we are able to offer you here at Avasarah.

First we would like to introduce you to a shining star of ethical jewellery, one of Oria's founding partners and it's crafts person Synnove Saelthun.

Inspired by a childhood filled with travel and spent close to nature,Norwegian born Synnove embraced these passions and channelled them into creating beautiful jewellery. Of her travels, she is most inspired by India and it's rich jewellery culture. She finds her deepest fulfillment spending time in nature, with warm summer sunshine and long mountain hikes bringing the most beauty to her life. She also enjoys really good food and wine, which by contrast brings us to another of her passions - great cities. Having studied and lived in two of the greatest, London and New York, she epitomises the Avasarah woman - Modern, socially aware and full of passion.
